Bostik Blu-Tack

I bought Blu-tack and to my suprise it's very 'hard' to knead. I got a sorrow thumb. It's doesn't stretch out smoothly. Adhesive is very good though!

Compared to Poster Buddies (Pritt), Poster Buddies are much softer but Blu-tackon the other hand is more adhesive. Great stuff!

Is this normal or did I get a very old package? Anyone has the same packaging as I do?

Grtz

Re: Bostik Blu-Tack

Never known this stuff to be hard to knead into a ball or something shaped to use as a mask etc…. I use it all the time, and it’s mostly soft. But I’ve know enamel paint to lift under the toothpick or something and seen the part drop of, as the oils in the paint reduce the effectiveness of the sticky pulp.

But I’ve had some for over 16 months now, and it’s still working, but it’s effectiveness is starting to decrease a little as I keep on using it. Perhaps you got a bad batch? I would recommend this stuff all the time, so dunno…

Re: Bostik Blu-Tack

Mickbench, with what would you like to compare it? I would say an almost dried chewed gum.
