HID lights

hey guys,

Has anyone installed HID lights on their trailblazer? i have a 2004 ls and was thinking of having this done. Can i get some advice on the subject. I am currently running on Silverstars XS which are pretty nice but i was thinking of just going full hid. Also my fogs seem not to throw alot of light, it was a custom job and seems kinda shabby any thoughts?

thanks
Phantom

Re: HID lights

I would also love to do this. The trouble is that there are no projector lenses for tb's. These would focus the light and make the hid's much better. The saab 9-7x has HID's with projectors, so maybe it's headligh housing could be transferred, but I'm not so sure.

Re: HID lights

As long as they don't draw more amps than the factory setup, it's do-able. TB's already have an over-taxed charging system. Adding more load would require a very hi capacity battery or higher output alternator.
