Newbe to the list with a 750 question

Hello all, I have owned a 1987 750 for 6 yrs now. It appears the 750 series production started in 1987 in Germany. This car is not a IL because it was imported from Germany by a private citizen. It is beautyful with all the amenities. It is difficult to get parts for unless I use the 1988 750 parts for it. But, that also has its problems because the American version doesnt have the same features as the German edition. my question is this - 1) should I hold onto this car or sell it while it is still a great ride. 2) is it worth more or less because it is a German edition and last but not least- whats it worth?
Thanks, Mike

Re: Newbe to the list with a 750 question

Wow!
If you have an E32 750i in the US, you have one rare beast indeed. I have only heard of a couple in the last three or four years, and both of them were sold on ebay...they got a premium for them too. I can't really tell you the value of yours, but it will bring more than a comparable 1988 US spec 750il. I wish I was in a position to make an offer, I would LOVE to have it at my house! But, keeping it or selling it, either way you're in a very good position. Good luck.

This is a pretty good site for the e32 7 series cars. Lots of knowledge here from posters all around the globe. A few folks are going to drool when they find out what you have. Provide as much info as you can about your car (build date, VIN, etc.) and you'll get your answers.

Great site Zmuff. Its a european 750iL with all the extras. Built 7/87 worth 2 to 10 grand depending on the market. I just need to tap into that market. I'd hate to sell to someone who would not appreciate it and run it into the ground. I'll keep searching. Thanks again.
