New Prelude?

hey guys,

does anyone know if there's gonna be a new gen prelude in the future of the honda line-up?

i'm not sure but i think the crx is gonna come back and its last year was 1991, so i don't think it's a far stretch to bring back a new prelude.

if there is a new prelude, please post links and pix please.

thanks

Re: New Prelude?

ford fusion is the closest you'll get to seein a new prelude. Ford studied the bodylines of the 4th and 5th gen prelude and fusion was the lovechild. (notice the similarities the headlights have with the 5th gen and the taillights have with the 4th gen)

Unhappy Re: New Prelude?

yup, i've seen pix that fusion, and ya I see what you mean. can you send me a link that has info of how ford got its design cues from the 4th & 5th gen prelude, I'd like to read it, or at least read that they admitted that they got their inspiration from a jap import.

anyhow, i read maybe back in 2002 that honda may bring back a new gen prelude around this time or early 2007. i guess not, i havent seen anything that indicated that but hoped someone here read something I missed.

later

Unlikely since when it was originally released they didn't even plan on making it as long as they did anyways. If they released one today it would be all electrical B.S. that would seriously cut into the favorite part of the Prelude -> Tuning.
