Is that suposed to be the same kit as the new RE Amemiya one?

And...WOW! Fujimi's new body(for this) looks alot better than the previous releases. This reminds me of the one off Veilside MRS spider.
???

Re: Initial D Project D RX7 out..questions

Both are RE Amemiya wide body FD, so I'd say the kits are identical, except for decals.

Fujimi's FD isn't all that bad, but (there's a big but here), it has a critical flaw due to the reuse of their old generic Nissan FR chassis parts. It's modified to fit the FD, but still the front sits way too high. The pictures in Hobby Search site shows that the company didn't fix the front struts, so the problem wasn't fixed in this kit. (but modification is relatively easy.)

Incidentally, Aoshima is also releasing the RE Amemiya wide body FD in the D1GP configurations (2004 and 2005). Moreover, the company claims that the body is completely new tool, and the racing interior will be accurately represented.

I've been wanting to make the Super Greddy, so the kit will definitely be a good start.

Actually, the side mirrors are different between the Initial D and the mu-7 SPL.
