Re: directed to saturn speed_ 12

i have been into cars since i was at least 10. well my parents said they saw it coming because when i was real you, baby, i would only play with cars. first time i wrenched on a car was when i was 9 maybe 10. i had to bolt up the radiator on my dads s10 so it would be ready to fill when he got back. i then started out on bmx bikes. i could build them like nothing. i then stepped up to cars when i turned 16, special joy getting your license 4 days after your 16 birthday .

i am a car fanatic. everything i do i want to perfection. so i learn as much as i can on cars. ive built motors, rebuilt a trans, help rebuild and set up a rear end, clutche jobs, electrical, just loads of things. i learned things, then worked on the car and learned more. when your really into cars, it just goes along. im just picky though, im like OC with a car. i want it clean, no leaks, everything to perfection or close.

i have no schooling on anything, and schooling doesnt help much in automotive as with almost any job. you have to get in and learn. you may be scared of what can happen, but its all apart of a learning experience. i mean i was afraid to start up my friends car when i replaced his water pump because its in with the timing and when we released the tension i asked him to see with the timing moves. he said it didnt, but i knew it did, so i had to reset it purely by hand and knowledge. and luckily i got it all back together and it started fine. its just nerves, and some are scared because they see all those electrical wires around.

you can read all you want or listen, but getting in and doing the job is the only way to learn. i have more to learn, "complex things" as some may say, but i want to learn all so i can just calculate things. i can already calculate some portions of engine set up, but other things take some time.

cars are my love, since i havent found that right person or anything, so i deal with cars alot. when you really love something, you dig deep into it. thats why i know quite a bit, but owning the saturn was a great car to learn off of. AND I WILL BE GETTING IT BACK!!!!!!! so im going to tear it down, and probably get a sc and build up a car for boost
