all pullies not working?
88' integra RS, DOHC, D16-A1, 5 Speed.
Buddy of mine looked at the engine, and noticed that none of my pullies are turning. The engine works, but none of my pullies work. My power steering isn't working either. What do you think could possibly cause this? He told me not to drive the car as is. He noted, that the very bottom pully has a pin or nut missing from the center. Any clues on what could cause this would help out a lot. Thanks -Adrien

Re: all pullies not working?
yes the missing pin your friend referred to is called a "key" in the top diagram above, that shows the crankshaft and pulley it's labeled #9. The key locks the crankshaft and pulley together. You can buy universal keys at any parts store but in my experience, only a key from acura fits perfectly and since they're only $2, just get teh right one. Remove the crankpulley, insert the key into the keyway (it'll be obvious) reinstall the pulley, tourque the bolt, and your ready to go
