1.6L VTEC D16Z6 SOHC to DOHC Conversion?

Is it possible to swap a SOHC head for a DOHC head on a D16Z6? I'm looking to make more power and possibly bore it out. The engine is in wonderful condition and I would hate to swap it for a B-series LS-VTEC frankenstein. I've been searching for quite a while and as a last resort, posting here. Anybody with ANY information regarding this, please let me know.

probably harder than just putting a b series in which in the long run will have a lot more horses

you cant do that. Dseries goes with D and Bseries goes with B there to completly different moters.

Re: 1.6L VTEC D16Z6 SOHC to DOHC Conversion?

I don't think he meant swapping the two heads. I was asking if there was a DOHC head for the SOHC D16Z6. I'm trying to see what options I have here. So far, I might end up going with a B-Series LS-VTEC (aka Frankenstein). Seems the way to go with so little funds. By the way, the whole SOHC to DOHC thing is coming from a guy who is mapping out BMW E46 black housing angel eye headlights for my CIVIC. I'm trying for custom stuff that works, not what everyone else has LOL.
