Electrical Issues: 2004 Eddie Bauer

Is anyone else experiencing electrical problems with their 2004 Expedition? I just ran out of warranty, during which I had to have the cruise controls replaced. Now the power driver seat has developed a mind of it's own and won't remember the seat settings then suddenly goes back to them for no reason! WTH?!? Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the vehicle, except for those stupid brakes/rotors!

Not the same model but I have a 2002 Expy. I had electrical problems similar to that and it ended up being a water leak. Water was leaking in and running behind the dash right down on top of the GEM box. Strange electrical problems like that should be related to a faulty GEM.

Question Re: Electrical Issues: 2004 Eddie Bauer

So what is the fix for this leak? It seems to be fairly common. Pete

I really dont think this is common with the newer design 03+. It seems to mainly effect the 97 to 02's. Ill make a new thread about my new found discovery.
