93 explorer trans

I was having a problem with the trans fluid backing up the vacuum hose into the engin oil.So I decided to replace the the tranny vacuum diapham.Got it put together ((backed)) it out of the garage then drove it.About ten minutes into the ride i noticed it wasnt running right.Got back pulled up to the garage door and shut it off.I then decided i was too close to the door and decided to back it up.I started it,put it in reverse and nothing?Ok then put it into neutral to let it roll back well it lunged forward. At any rate I have drive no reverse drive in neutral and I believe drive in park?????When I was first done i had reverse?

Hi, When you rmoved the vac modulator, Did you happen to see the valve that the modulator moves, It fits ino a bore in the trans,,Did you loose it? Or miss align it?....Don't get offended it happens to a lot of people who attempt to replace the vac modulator...Check it out and ....GOOD LUCK....Clay...
