brake lights
I own a 1978 chevy pick up and both my brake lights are not working and the bulbs are fine. I was told there was a switch on the brake pedal that could be the problem, but I could not locate one. So I was wondering if anyone out there knows exactly where that might be or is it located elsewhere on the vehicle.

Re: brake lights
Chris, the switch is located on (in front of) the brake pedal. Most likely it's black and white plastic and looks like a push button. It should mount into a bracket that hangs down in front of the brake pedal arm. Follow the steel shaft up until you find something that hits agains it... you've found the switch
