97 Blazer factory radio question

We have a 97 blazer that the left channel in the radio has gone out. I have noticed similarities from pics of the 94-02 factory radios. Will the newer 01 or 02 factory radios fit and plug right into a 97? Thanks for the help Scott

Re: 97 Blazer factory radio question

Are you sure that it isn't just a wire or 2?

In my opinion your better off just getting an aftermarket CD player from the autowreck. They're usually cheap and more advanced

'95 thru '97s are direct replacements for the radios, no modding required.
The newer units have different wiring harnesses and mounting set-ups.

Check ebay or your local salvage yard. (I picked up a factory CD/radio from ebay to replace my cassette/radio)
