s10 pick up

My father has a 87 s10 that sat up for a couple of years. We tried getting it started with not luck. There was no gas getting to the carb. We replaced the fuel filter and pump. It ran for a couple of days then all of a sudden it stopped cranking. Its getting gas to the carb, but nothing comes out of the injector. We replaced the injector twice, got it to run for 10min, then it stopped again. I cant get the injector any tighter and when i lose it, gas goes everywhere. The wires going to the injector looks to be okay. Can someone help please??

maybe you should drain and clean the gas tank. after sitting a couple of years you probably got condensation in the tank which turned to rust which is clogging the injecters and filter. plus the gas that was in the tank would be bad.
