1988 beretta dies on highway 2.8 automatic

the car will only die on the highway but will drive around town and not die. i have replaced plugs, ign mod, map sen, oxygen sen, but since this problem started i replaced the plugs and ign mod. you will go down the highway for about 5 or 10 min and it will just die, you pull over and it wont start for about 5 min then it will fire and run for another 5 min and die and do it all over again. i checked for codes during this time and all i get is a 12 code.

Sounds a lot like ignition module but, since you have replaced it, the two things I would look at would be crank sensor, and fuel filter. Maybe filter clogged, or pump giving out when it pumps a lot at higher speeds. Both should be failry quick tries. Code 12 is just telling you computer OK. Crank sesnor usually won't give codes as neither does module or pump.
