odd electric issues

well when i first got the car the trunk release did not work.. i payed no mind to it i dident really car at first. then one day the power door locks went out. but not fully if you listen you could hear a clicking comming from around the dash area. and out of all randomness i tryed the trunk release and it worked... i was like wow this blows.. then i was driving along hit a bump the locks started working again and the trunk release died Again... it was like that for about 2 months. but about 2 weeks ago the door locks stoped working again and the same ticking sound was coming from the dash when i pushed the button for lock or unlock. but the truck release was still not working. i hit ANOTHER bump and they started working again but still no trunk... now every so often they just stop working and the ticking sound is back when i hit the button.. ehh.. im so confused

Re: odd electric issues

Sounds like a relay is faulty. You should get a schematic from a dealership to pinpoint what the relay is and what it needs for a replacement.

Re: odd electric issues

It sounds like a faulty relay. Try to get a diagram of your cars wiring from a dealer, and then you should be able to locate the problem.
