8" subs
So I want a good sounding system and I have these speaker boxes that hold these 8" speakers. I found some kenwood 8" subs for cheap. I dont need anything that will shake the rust off of my hatch just some low end (which I have none of, im all treble for now). Also, what kind of amp should I get. I might as well amp my front speakers and subs (of course), I dont really care about the back speakers very much. I also might be able to get a pair of JBL 6.5 in. speakers for the front.

Re: 8" subs
they run about $120 or so each thru mail order (if you can find them) ...... that was my daily driver, so I didn't want a huge box and a bunch of amps taking up my trunk. Mounting the subs in a buildout approximately where the factory door speakers go makes it look more factory and doesn't take up any room.
