Dyno footage Sunday night

Sunday is DynoDay.
I am going to get the car on the dyno.
Not dyno tuned yet.
Depending on the A/F...I may not get the motor spinning over 5500 RPM's. I won't know how high I am going to spin it until that when I am on the dyno.

Anyone want to make some guesses?

Chassis dyno. DynoJet dyno.
Remember...car hasn't been fully tuned yet.
This dyno corrects for altitude. So guess if I was at sea level.

Footage will be Sunday afternoon sometime.

good to hear that.. l say you will put down on sunday 470rwhp! after a good tune and push hard till 6k RPM you will put down 510rwhp l guess your car would stil make power at 6k RPM even 6.5k RPM.

dont trust me, l am just making up those numbers

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

Actually...once tuned, it should continue gaining HP until about 6600 RPM's.
Torque will have faded off some by then...but the HP will pull it up there.

I am really wondering what it will put down. Either way...footage coming.

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

402ci
42# injectors

I would have to check the program quick to see the pulse. That is what you are refering to right?

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

I say....600hp at the crank and 525hp at the wheels. What do we win if we are the closest? I'll take the trip to Florida Bob on the Showcase Showdown!!

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

Man...you are WAY high.
Unless for some reason this motor is a HUGE freak.

MAYBE I could get that kinda number once I am tuned. But even then I doubt it.

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

Kind of ironic you said that, I just came back to change my numbers. I'll say 500hp at the crank and 445hp at the wheels. That's assuming your car is a stick.

Re: Dyno footage Sunday night

Yup.
6-speed.

Once tuned and ready to roll...I want 500 RWHP.
