92 vic wiring harness

please help
i bought wiring harness from parts dealer they gave me premium wires but made by ac delco with life time warranty. The problem is i have now replaced them once after two months and now guess what its been two months again and the new ones are starting to arc as well could it be the wires or because they are ac delco maybe need motorcraft ?

or maybe to much power from coil packs cause the wires to allow arcs

thanks

Re: 92 vic wiring harness

The early 4.6 are known for eating up aftermarket plug wires, not sure why. On my 92 grand marquis I have motorcraft wires that I bought with the car 4 years ago and they are still good. My 94 vic has motorcraft wires on it also that I bought with the car a year ago and they are still good as well. I have used aftermarket wires on my wife's 89 vic and they lasted 3 years, but the 5.0 is a different beast.

Re: 92 vic wiring harness

Factory WIRES typically last at least 85,000 miles, and I have personally seen them go 135,000 miles.

Need I say more about OE parts?
