Hi
i got a b20b engine from a cr-v 97 i plan to convert it to turbo and put it in my 92 civic si i heared that this engine is 8.8:1 compression piston ok any ideas for this and is the internal can't explode when i throw about 15 psi of boost? somthing else which flow rate and the impedence of the injectors i need to the 15 psi? thnx |

I would not boost 15 pounds on any stock motor.

I'm a little curious why you want to run 15lbs but haven't mentioned any HP or 1/4 mile goals.
b20s tend to have the reputation of weak cylinder walls. From what I've read b20s have 6mm seperating each cylinder VS. 9mm in all the other b series. Some people have had consistant problems w/the sleeves cracking and others haven't. The peole who haven't are not running 15lbs though.

the goals is 13 or 14 1/4 i heared about the thin of the sleeves about this engine ok before i start this project any idea about better b series? is the b18b ran safty with stock internals? can i lower the compression with another b series rods or pistons the stock parts are not problem to me but i want to put somthing not to explode by 2 or 3 boosting thnx |
