Oil pressure

I have a 2003 Trailblazer. What should the oil pressure be reading? Mine at idle when fully warm is about 50 psi and almost 80 psi at 3k or so. Does this seem normal to you all?
Thanks

5/30 oil? It seems a little high, but these gages can be somewhat inaccurate, you could have a mechanical gage put on it just for checking purposes to verify the pressure.

Re: Oil pressure

Did it change all of a sudden or was it always like that? Like MW says, these gauges are not precision instruments.
