'93 Yukon Axels

I was wondering if the '93 Yukon GT with the Z71 package has any sort of limited slip differentials. I have felt some characteristics that would hint to that but Im really not sure. Does anybody know or know of a way I could find out? Thanks in advance.

Re: '93 Yukon Axels

I bought a 90 GMC K1500 Z71 Truck new back in Nov 1989. The Z71 package did not include limited slip (at least not in the 90 model year).

You need to look at the SPID label in the glove box. If you find G80, then you have limited slip.

Limited slip was standard on my 2000 Yukon with the towing package (not sure about 1993).

If that G80 really is the code for the limited slip on a '93 then I didnt even realize how loaded my truck is! I think it has almost every option you could have gotten in '93. that SPID label is like 6 lines long damn I really did get a killer deal on this truck!
