94' Altima Lock and Key cylinder replacement
I have a 94' Nissan Ultima,the lock cylinder and everything else is getting loose,and making the car harder to start.
Does anyone have any photos or anything to tell me how to replace this switch and key cylinder. PHOTO'S would be a GREAT HELP Thanks |

Sorry i do not have a photo , but i can tell you. Your Ignition Switch is held in by 2 Tamper proof Bolts , that sounds like they came loose. You should go to a local Nissan dealer and buy 2 new bolts then attempt to remove the old ones . You remove them with a punch and hammer.. Tapping it counter clock wise. Then the new bolts will have a 8 or 10 mm head that is suppose to break off when the bolt is tight. You can see them by removing th column cover and you may have to pop out the headlight switch to make it essayer. 2 screws. They are facing right up top so you should have no problems finding them ..
