turn signal

this might have been asked before. i read all the forums that has something to do with the turn signal but did not find the answer. my problem is that when i turn my signal on sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesnt when it does it clicks a few then it stops then comes back on again (sometimes). i checked all the bulbs to make sure the right type. and checked the fuse. they stay on when i turn the hazzards on. please help. thank's.
