98 continental trans

For a year been having problems with my trans. When i would be stopped
in drive it would lunge speratically. When i would drive and get into high R's
it would slip. Then just recently lost all gears. It would move for about a block
if i let it sit for a bit then nothing again.Thats were it as now.Is the tranny fried? There are no external leaks.
