19t>15g>13t

Re: 13t vs 15gs?

from my understanding, on our cars, the 15g will make just slightly more power than the 13T's when both turbos are maxed out, however they will make similar power in the mid range with the 13T's being able to spool up a lot quicker than the 15g's.

The 19T's will definitely make more power than both. However, when I was building my turbos before DR came out with the 19T's, I was deciding between 18T's and 19T's because both were going to run me exactly the same price. The 19T's fit the flow diagram of our engines a little better than the 18T's do, so the 19T's spool up faster than the 18T's, however, the 18T's are supposed to make more top end power than the 19T's. Because I wasn't too concerned on lag, I went ahead and went with the 18T's.

Actually whats funny about these transmsisions, when i ran my car at the track 2 years ago, my transmission was completely stock besides the tranny cooler, so it was a slushbox. It took my tranny so long to shift, while i was running 8 psi, my boost gauge would spike to 13 psi between shifts because there was no load on the engine. It was actually quite amusing.

i dont know what you call it, but it was interesting to see how several tenths of a second could have been dropped off my time just by adding a shift kit.
