Help: Buying an MX 6 Mystere

I'm looking into buying a Mystere, (1993+) and I was wondering if there are any major problems I should be aware of, or anything I should look for when looking.
Thanks

Re: Help: Buying an MX 6 Mystere

distributors are main issue. Rear brake calipers seem to be a problem with the 6/Probes', but I've never had an issue with mine. The don't get great gas
mileage either...you need a 4 banger for that. Go to probetalk.com and mx6.com to read more about specific problems.

Re: Help: Buying an MX 6 Mystere

6 cylinders have all the spark troubles which is usually the distributor in most cases.

I have owned a mx6 4 cylinder for over 2 years and not a problem as of yet.
