drag racing is where you try to get down the quarter mile faster than the person who you are dragging... basically dragging can be done in any automobile that can travel at least 400 meters (1/4 mile)...

in australia drag racing is primarily done in the following catagories... top feul, funny cars, and miscellaneous (i dont know all so feel free to abuse)

i have an idea... go to a search engine and look up drag racing, they should have a lot more info than i can offer...
