Question 2003 Sunfire 2.2 start up noise

My sunfire has been making a noise when the car is started (usually for the first time that day). It is when the engine turns over and it is a high pitched squeak...sort of sound like an animal. Sorry best description I can think of. Someone suggested it could be the serpentine belt....could they be right? I have no idea. Any other input? It has about 94k on it and other then oil changes and fluid top ups and a new sensor for the fuel tank we haven't had any other work done on it.

Assuming that there are no other problems That`s were I would start ,a cheap and easy fix. Belt is likely glazing over or possibly abit loose.Pop the hood and have someone stand by the right frt fender when you start it up .try to detect where squeak is coming from, look too see if belt is loose.
