Location of EGR valve?

98 Chevy Blazer LT 4x4

Can someone post a pic with the location of the EGR valve?

1995 Blazer with the 4.3L.

Does the picture posted above accurately reflect the location of the egr valve on my engine, also?

pretty much. it is directly under the throttle body portion of the upper intake manifold. its black and held on with 2 bolts. that reminds me, i need to pull mine and clean it.

just remove the air intake an look under the front of the manifold (right below the throttle body) and u will see it. if u want full access to it, u can remove the upper intake manifold, but u can get to the egr bolts without doing so.

is a cmfi the same as throttle body? is that silver thing, that looks like six pipes coming out of it with "vortec" in the middle, the upper intake?

yes that would be the upper manifold (the entire intake manifold is 2 pieces). "the silver things" are the intake runers, lol.
