You sure you blew the rear end?? They are very strong and almost impossible to break considering a TC or tranny will go first. That being said [insert shameless plug] I have a 92 VR4 parts car sitting here and the rear diff is still in my possession. If you do need it I am your man[/end plug]

idk what else it could be i heard a loud bang and then all u heard was some trattleing in the back... i cant reverse witout it feeling like tis slipping and all the gears in the trans work?

Is oil leaking out from anywhere?

didnt seem like it but then again it was alte when i last moved it....the car is somewhere else i have to drive on a weekend to go check it out and see if theres anymetal in the rear diff or what not but im pretty sure thats what went if its not what else could it be..... and if anyone knows where i can go to get a new one or fairly used one with low miles please let me know... the MItsubishi dealers no longer have then availabe

Well if it is the rear, or any other drivetrain part for that matter, you could either buy Stealthee's or go check out the parts for sale section of 3si. I'm sure you could find one in 10 minutes of searching.

I'd seriously get under the car though first and check the rear, transfer case, the tranny, check for leaks, holes, etc.

this may sound rediculous, but check your intake

if your intake pops off, it will make a loud bang, and then your car will run really really ruff, as if it cant barely run at all

make sure its connected to the mannifold
