Question changing engines in an intrepid

I was wondering, when putting a 3.2 or 3.5 into an intrepid w/a blown 2.7, does it have to be the same year? If not, what years can you use? Thanks

Depending on what year your car is. At minimum, you'll have to remove the PCM and wiring harness from the donor vehicle and use it on yours..

The 2.7 computer does work with the 3.2/3.5.I have done two or three 2.7 to 3.2/3.5 conversions and ran with the 2.7 computer
