94 Explorer
My friend has a 94 explorer with a 4.0L engine
This explorer has developed a ping when the vehicle is under heavy acceleration. It sets a code 335 and 336, both of which deal with an EGR issue. I used a vacuum pump to determine if the EGR valve was in fact opening and closing and everything seems to be functioning properly. Does anyone have suggestions on what I could try next for diagnosis of this problem?
