will a 98 ranger 4.0 fit my 94 ranger 4.0?

basically im curious as to if a 4.0 motor out of a 98 ranger will fit my 94 ranger 4.0 5 speed, if so great, i think i may have found a good one, but if not why wont it? and if for sum reason it doesnt work, does any one know where i can get 1 with low mileage, but i dont know why it woodnt work, but im not perfect at vehicles, thank you for any responses, i need sum answers pretty quick if anyone knows? will any ford 4.0 motor work?

not sure if they bolt up but if they do i would look for a 4.0 from a 2001 or newer. they had 40 more horses!!!!
