I had my truck painted a couple of years ago and never thought of them painting the raised letters on the tailgate like it was originally. Now they wont do just the lettering and I cant find anyone locally for some reason. I remember those letters being "rough" like sand and reflective. Does anyone know what type of paint that is and the best method to get in put on? My hand is definitly not that steady.
Thanks as usual! Joe |

Re: 1967 White Lettering on tailgate?
Ya well there is an even easier way to do it. If you can get your hands on a spray gun. You can put tape around all of the areas that you don't want paint to get on. Then just paint and let it dry and then clear coat it. I did this with the '65 that I have.

Re: 1967 White Lettering on tailgate?
Thanks for the info. What paint did you use a bright white Krylon or something more in the car line? Sounds like a plan though.
