89 gmc sierra oil getting in throttle body

i noticed that my truck was blowing smoke when i start it up and taking off.
i looked at the mount that holds the air cleaner on the throttle body and there is oil in there . there is a hose in the back of that mount that goes to the driver side valve cover , (it not the pcv valve). the oil is coming from there . does it supposed to do that. thanks

I would start by changing your pcv valve and see if that stops the problem. If it is excessive blow by you will have to have the engine rebuilt or replaced, becasue there is either something wrong with the cylinder walls or the piston rings.

It might run just fine but the rings can't hold in all the compression and the crankcase is pressurized slightly forcing oil out.

It is servicd to the full mark and not overserviced correct?
