Help please
I have noticed recently that when i drive in directions that pull the my car right, my car makes a squeaky sound like the brakes are worn, when i am not even touching them. This happens also when i am driving straight and the grooves in the road pull my car right slightly. I hear the whistle, metallic sound of something. I had my breaks looked at, and they are fine. It has to do something with else. Any ideas?

Re: Help please
hey what size tires do u have on your car? im asking because i have 18's and wide tires tend to "track" when u are driving. its not as bad with the 16's i have on for now, but im sure 17's and bigger do it. my car does that bad when i git grooves in the road, but thats what u get when u go big. if u have small wheels i dont know what to tell u, like i said my 16's i have now dont do it much at all

Re: Help please
Being pulled to the right could be a result of your steering being out of aligment.

Re: Help please
Is a tire rubbing?
Any wider tire will 'track'. My Grand Am is worse than my Trans Am is now. Grand Am is only 225's on a 16" wheel. T/A has 315's out back and 275's up front. 17" wheels. Wheel bearing is something else to think about.

check the inner edge of your wheel and see if it has been grinded down a little bit.

Re: Help please
what he said. and look for anything loose that could move around your wheels or engine bay for that matter.

Re: Help please
My guess is either a siezed up caliper, or a bad wheel bearing. After driving for a while, get out and touch the wheel that's dragging, if it's hot to the touch, then it's the wheel bearing and should replace it asap. it'll be warm, that's normal, but if it's HOT, it's a problem.
