This is started the other i was talking to a friend of mine that is a real turbo wiz. I mean they guy worked at street sports*AF 350Z* Greddy Civic current owners many many others. Well any way they got a supra in and he was working on it and was telling me bout it it ran a 7.8 somthing but he was talking last night bout the varible turbo trying to explain to me how it worked. Cause i was like what kind of turbo where you all using he said a T88 with 42psi. I was like i bet that took forever to spool up he was like nope. Then showed me how it worked. So i was wondering anyone know of 3srunning with one. Below is some more little info.
Varible Nossil turbo http://www.thedodgegarage.com/turbo_vnt.html Varible turbine geometry http://www.audi.com/audi/com/en1/glo...try__VTG_.html Turbocharger manufacturer Aerocharger uses the term 'Variable Area Turbine Nozzle' (VATN) to describe this type of turbine nozzle. Other common terms include Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG), Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) and Variable Vane Turbine (VVT).

Re: Any 3s using Varible turbo?
I dont know of anyone running one, but I do know they are expencive. One for my truck goes for somewhere in the $2500 range when the average large turbo goes for around a grand.
