exhaust on a 78 elky with a 454?

i have a 78 ss that i'm putting a 454 into. what headers will i need. i'm afraid the steering arm will be in the way on the drivers side. i watched a show where they did this but i haven't been able to get the name of the header company. one of the tubes went around the steering arm. if you have any ideas please let me know!!!!

It sounds like you have a clearence issue. Try shorty headers. Almost every header company makes em'. Good luck
