That's a pretty sweet Z. Really like the Andy's kit, not too fond of the fogs where the inners used to be. But overall a really good looking Z. Thanks for the pics.

I like the color of that Z. I see he made his own front mount intake. I give him points on creativity. I will agree with everyone else about the fog lights. I really like the stock inner turns the ZX2 has.

I wonder where they got the performance parts for the ZX2's because there is not much of an aftermarket for them.

Have you looked recently? There are a lot of companies that are making parts for the ZX2. Esslinger is one of the better companies out there that make parts. Arospeed just started producing various parts. Then there are companies like Weapon R, Hotshot, AFX, B&M, Centerforce, Ford Racing, Gude, Kamikaze(sp), CTA from Canada. Even though we don't have the aftermarket like a civic does, there are a lot of companies that are starting to pick up the ZX2. Now with the 6 second pro stock ZX2 out there, I'm sure we will get more afterlarket support.

Did the older ZX2's have a 1.9 or the 2.0 Zertec????????

All the ZX2's for 98-03 have the 2.0L Zetec. If they change it to the Focus ZX2, they might put the new Duratec in them. That isn't confirmed, but it is possible.

ZX2s are making their rise on the aftermarket side, they don't do too badly in any respects.

Us ZX2 owners are trying to get some better aftermarket support. The car has a great platform for the aftermarket world, people just need to realize that. We're starting to grow, and with a little time it will be just like any other car's aftermarket. Our problem is Ford doesn't back the ZX2, insted they push and support the Focus.

In my opinion, and the opinion of some other people, the ZX2 is a lot better than the focus. They aren't as aerodynamic as the ZX2, or as appealing to the eye. They aren't any faster, in fact they might be slower because of their shape and weight. Every focus I've raced lost to me, although I never raced any heavily modified ones, just the usual stuff. This is only my opinion though, don't take any offence if you have a focus. I don't mind them, just not my style.
