HAHA!! This is too funny... Mine broke just yesterday. I dropped the front part of the headliner down and removed the whole sunroof assy... not as easy as that sounded...but not really hard either. Once out I found 2 cheapo plastic pieces broke. Those plastic pieces are used to hold that channel to the track slides for the sunroof. Yes, without that piece your sunroof will leak right on to the top of the sunshade which then will run back into the headliner. Not only does it push back the sun shade but it acts as a channel for water dripping around the seal. There is no such thing as a water tight sunroof. Water will get in but thats when the channel and drain lines come in.
