to nos or not to nos

bare with me guys. i'm brainless. how much time am i gunna take off my 1/4 with nos?? and how long can i expect to keep my d16 running well for as long as it's supposed to after spraying it from time to time? in other words, what are the pros and cons? :smoka: i'm sure that you might have beaten the shit out of this topic already, but i'm new here.

I think if you don't go too crazy and only do like a 25 hp shot you should be ok...

I think the biggest problem with running too much nitrous is you don't get enough fuel into the motor, and it leans out (not sure tho)

Upgrade your fuel system along with adding nitrous and you should be ok... *shrugs*

uhhhh, guys, it's called Nitrous. not NOS!!!!!!!

NOS NOS NOS NOS NOS NOS NOS!!!!!!

anyway, on the stock internals, you can run up to 50 shot, depending on the wear of the engine. How many miles do you have on your car? Also, as for what it does for you performance wise, alot. It is definitely the best "bang for the buck" performance mod.

Heh I know that... I was talking to some kids I used to go to high school with and they always say NOS this NOS that... Dumb TF&TF wannabes :P

mmasse: I dunno what system would be the best, search for the webpages of companies like NOS, Venom (i think they make nitrous set ups), also pick up a magazine like Super Street or Sport Compact Car, they have lots of ads (LOTS and LOTS of ads... too many ads even :P ), I'm sure you will see a set up for your car in there somewhere...
