Re: Stock wheel dimentions
which year, which truck, which options?????
example, my 2001 gmc jimmy SLE shoud have had 16", 235/r65 16's, but the dealership changed it to 15's when they ordered it. there is also 2 good places to look right on your truck. the drivers door tag tells you about tire pressure and some times sizes. the other is in the glove box on some trucks, called an RPO sticker. there are a load of numbers, i don't know the order, but those codes tell you all the options, from body upgrades to what colors and trim were done at the factory including the type of rims and tires ordered. most good maintenance books can tell you what the codes mean, or you can google gm rpo codes and make a list. i'm not the expert, but most jimmy's were 15X7.5 i think, with 99-01 there was a 16"X 7.5 option. |

Re: Stock wheel dimentions
it's a 1990 GMC jimmy SLE full size. I already know the size but RPO's don't tell you backspacing, offset, or bolt pattern and thats the stuff I need to know. Thanks

Quote:
1. 4X4, auto matic or locking hubs 2. 4X2 3. 6 bolts 4. 5 bolts 5, cast aluminum 6. polished aluminum 7. there were seveal options of cast aluminum rims, all with slight differences in apperance and with the data you need. good luck and good hunting.
