wheel weight question, plz help

hey, how much do 92-95 civic wheels weigh? also, do u guys think this is a good deal:

ok, well the wheels i was lookin at possibly gettin are 17"s and weigh about 21 lbs. would this affect my acceleration at all or would i loose any power because of bigger, heavier wheels? thanks

Youre definitely gonna loose power with the new wheels for the added weight and the extra energy needed to rotate a wheel with a bigger diameter. How much power exactly is beyond me. I'm not good at physics. But the power lost to the wheels can be regained with a few mods. particularly intake and exhaust. Headers would be nice too I just put some 18's on my car and I can feel that the car has a little more trouble accelerating, so its time for engine work SOON

HX rims are only 9lbs. The lighter the better as most after-market are not. You could use them as a boat ancor. Got real "mags" on my car.

Magnesium weights in about 5.5lbs w/ out tire
