need help asap, what's wrong with my idle?

Ok, so last weekend i switched my y7 IM to a y8 IM and now my car will not idle normally. it starts off at ~3500 then after a few seconds it starts to bounce between 2000 and 3000rpm even after it warms up it still bounces from 1000 to 3000. i am completely at a loss for what the problem could be.

car is a manual, manifold is auto(so no iacv on the back), y8 tb is from auto so its three wire

First: i had the y8 manifold on with a y7 tb, the problem starts
switched to the y8 tb and still problem
changed MAP sensor...
checked all the vacuum hoses i could find...

safc says tps is fine

could i have cut a wire and thats messing up the map sensor reading? is there some other vacuum hose im looking over? i really have no idea what is wrong with it and ive been without a car for a week now, please help if you can.
