'03 trailblazer LT door handle won't open from inside

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help....My Mom's '03 Trailblazer LT inside door handles (both rear ones) stopped working today. They seem like they're frozen. The power unlock button is working and power window is working but can't open the rear doors from the inside. They work fine from the outside. Any suggestions? I checked the fuses under the hood and they all seem fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.....

There are safety latched on the doors. open the door and look by the "keeper" on the door. there is a latch there that will do what you are saying, just flip the latch the opposite way that it is now. I use mine to keep my 4 yr. old daughter from opening the door. Hope this helps.

Heheee.. Yep you are locked in on child mode! Just flip the toggle switches to the other side & you will be good to go.

I tried the child safety toggle switch and it doesn't seem to work. The doors still won't open from the inside. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help....

If you r positive that the doors are unlocked and the safety switch is off, the i don't know cuz its both back doors doing the same thing. i thought for sure it was the safety latches.......sorry

We'll be taking it to the garage to find out what's causing the problem. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help.
