What a handy tip!!!

I dont understand a word of it but the pics speak for them selves. This is a great tip that i am going to have to use from know on. Side mirrors are a real bitch to position when they have no lugs like in many tamiya kits. Its made harder by then fact that your so nervous when trying to avoid ruining your immaculate paint job with a misplaced mirror.

It may well be mentioned in the acompanying text but i would advise that to get this right it will be best to tack down the wing mirrors with a small drop of poly. Obviously do this before any primer is applied and prior to sanding away those mold line type things that indicate the positon (like on most recent tamiya kits) when preping the body. The mirror should then be secure enough to brill through yet easily snapped off.

Very nice tip
It is a real pain trying to get those mirrors on. I always use Kristal Klear so i dont stuff the paint but it makes them easy to bump off

Indeed, Warren old chum! Ive done this sort of thing with rear spoilers/wings etc but never thought to do it with wing mirrors. May we all never have to keep gluing them on with PVA or ruin our panitwork with CA again !!!!

Hey guys,
Here is another tip...if you want to translate the site....
www.worldlingo.com
you just select the machine translation tab and then source language is Japanese and translate to language is English and voila you have the text is understandable English.
I admit the transllation isn't perfect, but it works.....
