rack and pinion
i have a 1988 mustang gt.... well i need to replace the rack and pinion setup in it...... how hard is it on a scale of 1 to 10 and also do i need to align it when i am done?

Its about a 6 out of 10 and yes, you will need to align it. Also, make sure you get the right one for your car. There are two ratios available and the GTs have the faster of the two(16:1, I think). I put a slow ratio(free) in my '89 GT before I sold it and it felt wierd.
