Hyabusa Vs 1g GSX

Well my buddy ran his 1g at the track last weekend. It was prepped pretty decent, cut a couple 1.7 60' times and managed a new personal best of 10.9 @ 128.9mph.

He has a AWD 1g that has been his daily driver for the last 3 years. Same motor, he upgraded the turbo 2 years ago, put a roll cage in last winter and was shooting for his goal of a 11.00.

His mod list:

Engintecs Built 2.0 (Ross/Eagle, FP2 Cams, Double springs), FP3052, Quartermaster twin-disk, DevoTuning built tranny, 850cc injectors, Aeromotive AFP, Supra pump, DSMLink, Magnus SMIM, Spearco 2-216, MAFT, Zeitronix Wideband, KYB AGX, Falken Azenis 205/55/16 that are bald.

I think this is the first car with a 3052 to break into the 10s. Here is the vid... Enjoy.

HAHA... Actually it was just a bird. It is very hard to tell at full speed but if you slow the video down to around 1/2 real time you can see the bird enter from the top/opposite side and fly across the track. Wierd coincidence but it looks like it really comes out of the exhaust.

The "poof" of smoke was him hitting the rev limiter shifting wide open throttle.

Find a program that you can download to slow the video down. Trust me, we stared at the video in full speed for a good 1/2hr before going back to the camera and watching it in slow motion. It is a bird, just a wierd angle makes it look like it flew out the exhaust.

After you watch it in slow motion, then come back and tell me what you "think" it is.
