XS Power Cams

I purchased these cam shafts on ebay about 2 weeks ago from a power seller named www.ssautochrome.com (they also have their own website). They were selling them as "JDM Honda Acura Integra Type R Cams Camshafts ITR B18c5". With no indication that they were replicas or Type R "Style". Well it turns out that they are not OEM and that they are made from a company called XS Power (no offense to anybody but they are probably made in China or Taiwan). The material is not the same as real Honda/Acura cams and obviously (just by a close visual) not even as good as quality as Skunk2 or any other well known quality aftermarket camshaft. They kind of have ruff edges (even though they wrapped them up all nice in wax paper and had them greesed up with fresh greese. Anyways I was just wondering if anybody here has ever heard of them and if they have any advise, comments, questions or concerns. Any help would be really appreciated.

Re: XS Power Cams

ssautochrome sells crap parts, especially their turbo kits, so I wouldn't be surprised that they sell low quality knock-off parts. If I were you, I'd sell the cams and buy from a well known company. You will end up spending more, but you'll get quality parts for sure.

Re: XS Power Cams

Thanks a bunch man. Thats exactly what I'm going to do. Hopefully I get most of my money back from selling them. When it comes to internal parts on my car I'm not going to take any chances. Thanks again.
