Trunk will not fully close.

My trunk wont fully close and I checked the fuse and its ok. Is there another fuse for this trunk to work properly?

Re: Trunk will not fully close.

Are you refering to the trunk lid pull-down feature?

Re: Trunk will not fully close.

He mentioned a fuse so I would guess that his pull-down latch quit... I'd say it is time to go to a junkyard and pull a "new" one. I suppose it could be gummed up so a bit of WD40 to clean it and then a bit of grease to lube it might help too.

Re: Trunk will not fully close.

Yea, I asked because mine without the pull down system wouldn't fully close at one time, either. Turned out to be a faulty latch/ trunk release selenoid housing.
